Become a Sponsor for Celebrate Children 2010
StrengthBuilding Partners is funded through donations from individuals and businesses, foundation and government grants, income from services and fundraising events. Funds raised from Celebrate Children will support new and on-going programs in Tucson Unified School District and Sunnyside Unified School District, and the development of new curriculum and programs, such as StrengthBuilding Leadership for middle and high school students. As a sponsor or underwriter, you become a partner with us in reaching more school staff and professionals, and ultimately, improving the lives of more children and families.
Celebrate Children: Our Signature Fundraising Event
The 10th Annual Celebrate Children will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday April 23, 2010 at the beautiful St. Philips Plaza located on the southeast corner of River and Campbell roads. It’s a perfect Friday night event featuring hand-painted wine glasses, wine tasting, both a live and silent auction, great food, shopping, live music and lots of fun—all for $50 per person. Over 500 people are expected to attend.
Attendees have remarked that Celebrate Children’s casual atmosphere, the unique touch of being able to stroll through local merchants’ shops, and having no long, formal program give it the feel of a big, fun block party. Business people and community and civic leaders have been supportive of this event from its inception. Past sponsors include BHP Copper, Wells Fargo, Compass Bank, Casino del Sol, and McDonalds of Tucson and Southern Arizona.
Our fundraising goal this year is $50,000.

Your sponsorship funds one year long StrengthBuilding Leadership Training In a middle or high school class at a Tucson area school.
In addition, your sponsorship comes with the following benefits to your organization:
- 5 ½ hours of StrengthBuilding Training and 9 hours of follow-up StrengthBuilding Coaching for one group of up to 15 employees. This is a total of 14 ½ hours of StrengthBuilding Training & Coaching for a group of your employees facilitated by StrengthBuilding Partners’ President, Pamela Clark-Raines
