13th Annual Celebrate Children
Our Signature Fundraising Event
Celebrate Children 2013 will be held from 6 – 9 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2013 at the beautiful St. Philips Plaza located on the southeast corner of River and Campbell roads. It’s a perfect Friday evening event featuring the Best of Arizona with hand-painted wine glasses,generous donations of award winning wine from local wineries, epicurean delights from fabulous Tucson restaurants, an exciting silent auction with many objets d’art by local artists and music by a local Tucson band. Over 500 people are expected to attend.
Attendees have remarked that Celebrate Children’s casual atmosphere, the unique touch of being able to stroll through local merchants’ shops, and having no long, formal program give it the feel of a big, fun block party. Business people, community and civic leaders have been supportive of this event from its inception. Past sponsors include Community Partnership of Southern Arizona, Casino del Sol, UPS Freight, Jim Click Automotive Team, and individual sponsors such as J. Ray Rokey, DDS and Armando & Anna Rivera. Our fundraising goal this year is $75,000.
